Whew! What a Weekend! July 28, 2008

My weekend started off GREAT! I went to the dress fitters…after trying on the bridesmaid dress, they decided it needs to be taken in another 1/2 size! WooHoo! I’m feeling good! 
Went to littleman’s football awards Saturday afternoon. Much to our surprise and delight, he won a ‘Coaches Award’…an award handed out by the coach to a person on the team that shows determination and commitment, encourages and helps others on his team , gives it his all, and has team spirit! 
I’m one proud mama! He was so cute when he went to accept the trophy, and had a cheering squad from some friends on the older boys teams. He was beaming! We stayed for a while afterwards to help set up for the evening’s banquet. Extra hands are always needed!
Saturday night I went to the Spring Football Banquet (leaving the kid at home 
)and had a great time. Social butterflied the night away and managed to crawl in late and after a few rounds of Rock Band, headed to bed bt 2:30… late night for me!
Sunday I managed to make it out to grab some groceries, aired out the camping stuff, threw in some laundry, made a lasagna for supper, played chauffeur by picking up and dropping off a couple of littleman’s buddies and did some house cleaning (all while a little hungover thank you very much! LOL) I also was honoured with the privilege on winning ‘Single Moms Seeking’ amazing contest! I can’t wait to receive my prize!! Overall, I think it was an AWESOME weekend!
