Today’s Tidbits

Littleman was so happy last night because my dad (otherwise known as ‘Poppy’) came out to football practice and decided to lend a hand. Nothing like being proud of your Pop! Did I mention…littleman wears #32 on his jersey….the same as my dad when he used to play. 

 

In less than happy news, there is a possibility that there will NOT be fallball this year for littleman’s age group. It seems that we are lacking a head coach and no one has offered to step up to the plate and volunteer. This does not bode well. First of all, littleman LOVES football and will be so disappointed if he can’t play. Secondly, they have already taken and cashed my cheque. I just don’t understand..every other level has at least 5 or 6 coaches…can nobody offer to step back and encourage the ‘little’ players? These kids are the future ‘big’ players, but if not encouraged now while they are enjoying themselves, who’s to say they’ll want to play later!  What am I going to do???

 

On a much happier note, I went for my dress fitting for my bridesmaid dress. Apparently, I have lost 3 inches off of my hips, 2.5 inches from my waist and 1 inch from my bust. What does that mean? It mean that when I put on my dress…it hung like a tent! LOL. They have to take it in by 2 sizes!!!! I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy about that!
